Collision Repair Tips:

1. Never drive a car that could be unsafe because of damages.

2. Some insurance companies may want you to visit their drive-in claims center before having your car repaired. You can do this, or you may leave your car at our shop and ask that the insurance company inspect the car here.

3. You are not required by law to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal.
   

4. You have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop.

5. Differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work. If you're not sure why one estimate is different from another you've received, please ask us.

6. Choose a shop that has unibody repair equipment and certified technicians (by I-CAR or ASE, for example).

7. Ask if the shop will be using genuine manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts.

8. Ask if the shop offers a repair warranty.

9. Let us help you negotiate your claim with the insurance company.

The following Limited Warranty backs all repairs performed at Mike Montgomery Auto Body:

Mike Montgomery Auto Body hereby provides a Limited Warranty on repairs performed by the shop. This Limited Warranty is valid only for as long as you own the vehicle stated herein, and is for the person to whom this Limited Warranty is granted and whose name appears herein and on the original work order. This is a labor only; fragmented four-part Limited Warranty, and stipulations pertaining to each fragmented part are stated hereafter:

1. METALWORK: Mike Montgomery Auto Body provides a LIFTIME LIMITED WARRANTY on all metalwork, to include welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration, excluding rust repairs, any metalwork warranted hereby, at its sole option, when claim is made while the present owner stated herein owns the vehicle, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle. Posted labor rate must be paid for lifetime warranty.

2. PAINTING, STRIPES AND DECALS: Mike Montgomery Auto Body provides a LIMITED WARRANTY on painting-related priming and painting work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation. The Shop will re-prime, re-paint, re-stripe or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby (excluding rust repair), at its sole options, when claims is made within four (4) years of the effective date stated herein, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle. Paint Warranty is valid only over original factory finishes that are free of defect. Dupont Paint Company warranties for the period of four (4) years all finish work performed by MMAB.

3. MECHANICAL REPAIRS: Mike Montgomery Auto Body provides a THREE (3) MONTHS LIMITED WARRANTY on all mechanical repairs pertaining directly to original collision damage, excluding suspension, air conditioning or other electrical assemblies or components. The Shop will re-repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby, at its sole option, when claim is made within three (3) months of the effective date stated herein, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.

4. PARTS: Mike Montgomery Auto Body PROVIDES A LIFTIME LIMITED WARRANTY, unless mfg. Warranty is less, on NEW OEM parts installed by or at the Shop, excluding suspension, air condition or other electrical assemblies or components. (Please Note: Shop warranty does not exceed Mfg. Warranty.) The Shop will repair or replace any defective part warranted hereby, at its sole option, when claim is made while the present owner stated herein owns the vehicle, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.

NOTE: All of the above warranties are void if our recommended procedures, labor rates, specified parts were not used in the repairs of the vehicle. We may, at our discretion, warranty the labor for a period based on the labor rate paid.
